Mimakara chili pepper is an extremely spicy condiment made by frying chili peppers, which are grown on the mountains of Mima City, in sesame oil and simmering them in soy sauce and dried bonito flakes.

It can be used to prepare various food dishes, such as hot pots, udon, pizzas, and curries.

Many other products, such as Ichimi and yakiniku sauce, are also made with it.

It is sold at roadside stations and farm stands in Tokushima Prefecture.
